About Kwik Fill

Kwik Fill® is a convenience store chain operated by Warren, PA based United Refining Company. In the 1980s, United Refining Company was purchased by John Catsimatidis, CEO of the Red Apple Group real estate company. Under his direction, United continued its growth and expansion through the acquisition and the building of new locations in our retail gasoline and convenience store business. Kwik Fill® Gas Stations and Red Apple® Food Mart Convenience Stores were two of the many products of this expansion. Kwik Fill®/Red Apple® Food Marts now consists of 286 company-owned locations and seven independently owned and operated franchise locations in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Kwik Fill®prides itself on selling American-Made United Refining Company gas, produced from North American crude oil. We have four basic types of stores: gas stations (full and self-service) with no convenience store; gas stations (full and self-service) with a small convenience stores; medium sized Red Apple® Convenience stores with fuel; and larger Red Apple® Convenience stores with fuel (some with Food Express Cafes). Kwik Fill also has four full service diesel truck stops, four mini truck stops, two restaurants, and two truck stop motels. Kwik Fill® gas stations are integral parts of the communities that they serve, employing 2500 people throughout NY, PA, and OH, supporting local businesses and economies, and benefiting local charities.
